Return Policy
Returns
If your item does not fully meet your expectations, it is possible to return it for an exchange or refund.
Items must be in their original state, not worn or washed. Any returned item that is not in its original condition or has signs of wear will not be refunded, or only partially, and will not be admissible to be exchanged.
If you wish to procced with a return, contact me via the form at the bottom of this page within 14 days of receiving the package.
Once the return is agreed upon, ensure that the item(s) are packed properly and send to the address provided in our conversation.
IMPORTANT: If you are outside Canada, it is imperative to use the POSTAL SERVICE and indicate “return of goods” on the customs form. Items sent via courier (like UPS or Fedex) will not be refunded, or will only be partially refunded.
You are responsible for the shipping costs for the return of the item. Preferably, use a service with tracking.
Items must be returned maximum 30 days after receipt of the order.
Please note that items on sale and gift cards are not returnable.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds will be granted:
- Any Item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Any Item that is returned without contacting me first
- Any package that is returned to me because the buyer did not pick it up from the post office, a PO box, or a carrier pickup facility on time.
- Any Item that is sent back (from outside Canada) via courrier or with a custom form that is not filled correctly resulting in extra fees for meus upon receipt
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, I will email you to confirm receipt of the returned item. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card. While the refund will be initiated immediately upon approval, please allow a few business days for the credit to appear in your account
Exchanges
If you need to exchange your item for a different size or color, please contact us via the form below or by e-mail: info@karinamercier.com.
Defective or damaged items are eligible for exchange. To request an exchange for the same item, please email me at info@karinamercier.com and include photos clearly showing the damaged or defective area.
Gifts
If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to the recipient, the recipient will need to contact me and return the item. Once I receive the returned item, an exchange will be sent or a store credit will be emailed to the recipient. The buyer will not be notified unless the recipient requests that they be informed of the return. The same return instructions provided above apply.
If an item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or if the buyer had the order shipped to themselves and not directly to the recipient, the exchange will be sent to the original address, and/or the refund will be issued to the buyer. If the recipient is the one contacting me regarding the return and sending back the item, the buyer will be notified of the return. The same return instructions provided above apply.
