Return Policy
Returns
If your item does not fully meet your expectations, it is possible to return it for an exchange or refund.
Items must be in their original state, not worn or washed. Any returned item that is not in its original condition or has signs of wear will not be refunded, or only partially, and will not be admissible to be exchanged.
First, contact us via the form at the bottom of this page within 14 days of receiving the package. You can also send an email at info@karinamercier.com
Once the return is agreed upon, ensure that the item(s) are packed properly and send to the address provided in our conversation.
IMPORTANT: If you are outside Canada, it is imperative to use the POSTAL SERVICE and indicate “return of goods” on the customs form. Items sent via courrier (like UPS or Fedex) will not be refunded.
You are responsible for the shipping costs for the return of the item. Preferably, use a service with tracking.
Items must be returned maximum 30 days after receipt of the order.
Please note that items on sale and gift cards are not returnable.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any Item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Any Item that is returned without contacting us first
- Any package that came back to us after being delivered to a post office box or post office and that was not picked up by the customer on time
- Any Item that is sent back (from outside Canada) via courrier or with a custom form that is not filled correctly resulting in extra fees for us upon receipt
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card. We will proceed as soon as the return is approved but allow a few business days for the credit to appear on your account.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange your item for a different size or color, please contact us via the form below or at info@karinamercier.com.
We will replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@karinamercier.com with pictures showing the damaged or defective area.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you. The same return instructions stated above apply.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return. The same return instructions stated above apply.
