I don’t remember how old I was… Probably just a toddler as I was watching her on tv in the mornings… She was so classy with her high bun. I remember her drafting patterns on kraft paper. I remember her shears moving through mint tweed with such precision.
It was fascinating! I was completely mesmerized even though I didn’t really get what she was doing. She was Angelina DiBello, a sewing instructor that hosted a tv show in the 70s. She has sparked my curiosity and creativity… and, probably my love for tweeds!
I’ve always loved creating stuff, but also styling outfits and finding new ways to wear my clothes. Although I have to admit that I own way too many pieces of clothing, I truly believe that you don’t need much to have a functional and flexible wardrobe.
Good basics and fun accessories make it possible to create a multitude of different looks. It just takes a bit of imagination and a playful mind.
That’s what I had in mind when I started my accessory shop on Etsy. Creating pieces that would add special touches to your outfits and bring versatility and fun to your wardrobe.
